Butte-Silver Bow County boasts a rich political history, dating back to the 1880s and its evolution into a company town. Throughout this journey, Progressive people in Butte-Silver Bow have stood up for necessary change, a legacy embodied in the mission of the Butte-Silver Bow Democratic Central Committee. 

As Montana Democrats, we champion the principles of justice, fairness, and respect for every citizen. We firmly oppose the idea of politicians enriching themselves and billionaires at the expense of our community. 

We believe that no one understands what our community needs better than our homegrown Butte Silver Bow leaders. We advocate for government representation that prioritizes Country over Party. We welcome individuals who are eager to work towards electing politicians committed to fighting for an affordable future while conserving democracy and upholding the rule of law. Our goal is to cultivate candidates from within our community.
