Butte-Silver Bow County has a rich political history. From its beginnings in the 1880s to its transition to a company town, Progressive people in Butte-Silver Bow have fought for necessary change. This heritage is embodied in the mission of the Butte-Silver Bow Democratic Central Committee.
As Democrats, we stand for the principles of justice, fairness and respect for each and every citizen. We do not believe politicians should be enriching themselves and billionaires at our expense.
We recognize that business as usual will not serve the common good at this time. We need government representation that puts Country over Party. We welcome people who are willing to work to elect politicians interested in fighting for an affordable future, conserving democracy and rule of law.
We welcome all interested in progressive and fair public policy to join us. We support the broadest possible political participation without regard to race, sex, age, national origin, religion, ethnic identity, economic status or philosophical persuasion.
